Paghman Valley
Paghman Valley is located in the center of Afghanistan. It is a
beautiful place in the world like paradise; because of its natural beauty, where nothing is artificial.
The valley is mostly famous for its beautiful river with cold water, tall
mountains covered with flowers and the beautiful cold weather. The river has pure and cold water flowing from west to east. The
water of the river makes sounds like birds singing between two mountains called
(Hindu Kush), giving comfort to the ear and feels like listening to a smooth
and soft music. The mountains are covered with flowers like a bride in a
wedding dress. Moreover, the fragrances of the flowers smell like the Blue Channel
perfume is sprayed all over the mountains: no doubt, that there is no sounds
but those of nature. As result of this, anyone there must feel like they are in
paradise. Furthermore, the weather in the valley during summer is freezing, and
feels like 50 degrees Fahrenheit. On the other hand, the weather about 20 miles
away to the east is 100 degrees. Additionally, the green trees around the river
give more beauty to the valley; lying under the shadow of the green trees is
like to be in the bedroom of a king. Also, fruits of the valley are famous all
over the country and they are awesome, because it taste the best. Mulberry and
apple are the most famous one in the country.
The river, starts from the valley and ends in
the Indian Ocean. Paghman Valley River is the only river in Kabul city. This
river is totally different from the rivers in the USA because the water of the
river has speed and sound, and it is very cold during summer time. The sound of
the river comes from water hitting the big rocks in the river. Thus, it creates
sounds which are very comforting and makes the mind very relaxed. It seems there is no other sound exists in the valley. The water of the river is cold even in the
summer; there is no need to refrigerate it. Also, when the water is drunk,
there is no need for any kind of soda for digestion such as Coca-Cola or Pepsi,
because the water has the power of digestion and it is typically digestible
regardless of its origin. This river is the most reliable source of drinking
water for almost 6 million people in kabul city.
The mountains that lay down to both sides of
Paghman valley are part of the Himalayan Mountains, which is named Hundu Kosh
Mountain in Afghanistan. These mountains are 6650 meters high, and the peak is
called Teraj. These mountains are 8,300 meters above the sea level. Peeks and
the places that are not in direct contact of sun are covered by snow for almost
the whole year. People use this snow during summer for multi- purposes in the
city. Animals run all over the mountains and enjoy the nature. These mountains
give more natural beauty to the valley.
Weather is the most important thing for a
place to visit. Paghman valley has the most beautiful weather in the world. It
has its four seasons; spring, summer, fall and winter. Each of its seasons have
their own beauty. During winter season, the valley is covered by snow. Kids make
snowmen and play with the snow. Adults clean the snow from their rooves because
the houses are made of mud. Spring is also a beautiful season in the valley; it
starts with everything turning green such as tree and grass. Furthermore,
flowers rise up and cover the mountains. However, the most beautiful season in
the valley is the summer, because the weather is so cold in the valley. Thus, people
from all over the country are visiting Paghman mostly during this season
because they are tired of the hot weather and ACs in their houses; they just
want to try natural AC. The fall season is also fun in the valley, when all
leaves of the trees are falling down and make the valley more beautiful with their
yellow color. Weather in Paghman valley is the most important thing to consider
for visiting.

natural beauty. The valley is world famous because of its river with cold and
pure water, mountains covered with snow, and its flowers and beautiful four
seasons’ weather. The weather in Paghman Valley is beautiful and attractive,

fresh organic fruits. Many people come from all across the country to visit
this valley especially in the summer season. All these things combined give the
